Opal Tapes has been the recipient of much deserved online praise, including a must-read Resident Advisor interview and mix from label head Stephen Bishop, since we profiled the label about six months ago. They've kept up a prodigious release rate too, and on that note have another batch of four tapes surfacing in the next month or so. My pick of the bunch of is Lumigraph's coursing, rough and ready Nautically Inclined, whose heavily reverbed claps can be heard in the above excerpt of the track "Tampa Awaits".
